How it began
Five years ago, I was lucky enough to become the owner of Mille Fleurs
After working alongside Jane, the original owner for 17 years, I had the privilege of taking over the shop and continuing its legacy. Millinery has always been my passion and so to own my own business was a dream I had nurtured quietly while learning the skills of hat making and connecting with customers.
Since then, the journey has been amazing (ignoring the fact that covid happened 5 months into my ownership!), but today, I’m beyond excited to share the next chapter:
We’re opening a second shop!
Situated in the busy town of Tunbridge Wells, our brand-new space will be dedicated to all things hats, creativity, and personal style.
Why a Second Milinery Shop?
The short answer? You. The loyalty, enthusiasm, and support from our community have made this growth possible. Over the years, the demand for custom pieces and beautifully made headwear has grown beyond the walls of our original space. Opening a second shop isn’t just about expansion—it’s about creating more opportunities for people to discover the joy of millinery and experience the magic of wearing something made just for them.
What to Expect At The New Shop
- A carefully curated collection of our signature styles
- One-on-one consultation space for race days, weddings, and special occasions.
- Hat-making workshops and events coming soon—perfect for those curious about the craft or just looking for a creative afternoon out.
Where and When?
Situated along Mt Ephraim in Tunbridge Wells we look forward to welcoming you to our new shop in early May, just in time for Summer Weddings and Royal Ascot!
From apprentice to owner and now to this exciting new chapter, I’m so grateful for this opportunity, which has been made possible with the support of so many amazing clients, friends, and fellow hat-lovers. Here’s to honouring our roots—and growing something even more beautiful.
